I went for a wonderful walk on the beach today, it was so beautiful and I wish I could have taken a photo to show you. The weather has been pretty lousy but it kind of cleared for a few hours today, enough for the sun to peak through but with incredible clouds flanking it. The sun was shining on ocean mist that was hugging the headland we were walking toward, it was so beautiful. Sigh, I love the coast. And then when we got home as I was looking out on the garden, there was a sun shower. I really do love sunshine on rainy days!
Perhaps I need to visit the family more often :)
We do have relatives in both the north and southern coastal areas of NSW so we're very fortunate I guess.

I love the ocean beaches too. Rocky is good to look at. I live in the mountains so I love them but they are not as exotic
Hey girl, how funny, I was just at your blog for a few secs and then got your comments! I'm on a really old computer with dial up so things are extremely slow and painful! It took me so long to get the comment page to open over at your place that I gave up! Will be home soon and will pop in for a decent visit ;)
I do love any landscape with wide open spaces, it just restores my soul. And for some reason Im drawn to the ocean, always have been.
When I was growing up in NZ every where was coastal! But there were forests and mountains everywhere too, it was beautiful. Dad used to take me deer hunting with him, I loved being outdoors, and with him it was always an adventure. We used to make a tent with a large sheet of plastic , branches ans rocks, and bed was a pile of pine needles. A few good memories there, thanks for reminding me:)

Oh I love sunshine on rainy days too. We had really strange weather here today. Some purply grey kind of skies and an absolutely amazing rainbow....yet still enough sunshine for the kids to have a game of tennis.
Hey there Happy, I just emailed you! Thank God for snippets of sunshine so kiddies can go out to play! Mmm love the sound of that sky!
Something about sitting and looking at the ocean just soothes the soul......
