Its Official

Its official, I've lost 3.9 kilos, a big hooray from me. I wish I could say it was a breeze, but it wasn't. I'm not sure when I was last so hungry. Just got to keep going and when I get sick of these diet shakes I'll try and swap over to something else.

Hubby and I are off to Qld on Friday for a big family get together.....minus our teens which is a shame in some ways but on the other hand I'm looking forward to travelling with him and spending time one on one.

We had the most glorious winter day today.... glorious because it felt like spring. I do love where I live, the only thing that would make it better would be to live closer to the coast. Hubby and I are both water babies and absolutely love the ocean. Anyway, the reason I love where I live is the overall climate. It's only really cold for about a month and we all winge about it and then before you know it we get whispers of spring, like today.
We were talking to a guy from England recently and he thought it was hilarious that on th TV news here they had shown a photo of frost on a park bench, like it was something amazing. It is kind of funny I guess if you live somewhere that gets frost in summer.

Have a great weekend and remember YOU"RE FABULOUS! Even my lurkers!

Lovely to chat to you last night.

Wow! 3.9kg is excellent for your first week. You didn't tell me that!

I hope you have a lovely time away with hubby. Make use of that special time without the kids ;-)

Whoah - you go girl - you're talking to someone who a couple of years ago used to be 56lbs heavier.. it's soooo brilliant to feel part of the human race again. Weird how folk treat you so much better (male AND female). I wrote about it in "Big Bertha Bids Farewell".. I'm still the same person, 'in all, go figure!

And yes, you are soooo lucky to be living where you are - I'd by-pass our winters here in a heartbeat..

Good job on the weight loss! I have the opposite problem...I need to gain weight. It's getting easy to do...but I have to be careful where I put it.

Keep up the good work!

Meg
